It was always a battle between if you were a MOD or a ROCKER. Keith Moon’s answer was, “I’m a Mocker.” Perfect answer for the young person who wants to rock and look good doing it. Just as a side note Keith Moon was the greatest drummer to ever live.
This is why God created the mail.
I have had this CD now for a month because when you pray to the Gods of Rock and give them your credit card they release incredible music weeks and sometimes months before they are released here. It’s called imports and we should say Amen. With that prayer you are now able to purchase this CD in USA.
There is going to be a lot said about the age of these Irish lads. They are all under 18. Jeff Beck is a fan, he’s a pretty big deal when it comes to the guitar and picking at it.
The album sounds at first like it is all cover songs because they are done so well to capture The Stones in 1962 or the aforementioned The Who around the same time. They love the blues and they are not a boy band. This is classic rock performed by young men as new music to them. Their new discoveries may be Willie Dixon or the Yardbirds. And this new music they have heard for the first time burns in their veins with passion and that exuberance is delivered and contagious throughout their Snapshot release. Many of the greats started out banging the blues and it will be exciting to watch where these guys take it from here.
